CompTIA, the Computing Technology Industry Association has launched a double match campaign to help with hurricane relief. Here is the official announcement:
Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall, we’ve watched the tragedy unfold on a massive scale. From its initial impact to the still-falling rain and overflowing rivers, it’s impossible to ignore the urgent and ongoing need for aid.
But we’ve also seen incredible acts of humanity. Neighbors help neighbors, and organizations of all sizes band together to bring relief. Together, let’s help people get the necessities they need to begin rebuilding.
Please join CompTIA in donating to the Heart to Heart International, a global humanitarian organization based in Lenexa, Kan., that has worked to respond to the needs of disaster victims worldwide since 1992. Heart to Heart had a disaster response team and mobile medical unit deployed in Texas ahead of the storm and has been working with local partners to identify areas of greatest need, providing medical support and aid distribution.
We’ll match your donation, 2 to 1, up to $200,000. So your $10 donation becomes $30. Donate now to triple your impact.
Please specify CompTIA when prompted for a company donation match to ensure your contribution is matched two-for-one.
This is just one more reason why I am so proud to be a CompTIA member. The Association always goes above and beyond to help its members and those in need. In times like these, it is so important that we all come together to help those in need.
I hope you will join me in tripling your donation through the generosity of CompTIA!
