This week's theme is "Securing Devices at Home and Work."
With the full impact of pandemic well underway, more people are working and learning from home than ever before. This unprecedented increase in devices in the home creates a target of opportunity for hackers to exploit. Whether it's the connections back to the office or remote learning systems, there are more opportunities for exploits than at any time in recent memory.
Keeping these devices and the networks they connect to safe, is imperative. Unfortunately, most people are not IT professionals, able to segment and secure their home network properly. You could certainly engage a professional to do this and that may be the best option. But for many, they will simply connect more and new devices and often not take even the most basic steps to secure them.
